In the first part of 2017 the newest controller CZAT7, manufactured by Elester-PKP Sp. z o.o. and dedicated to power automation of railway and tramway systems, passed the IEC 61850 Edition 1 conformance test carried on by DNV GL in Gdańsk at INFO TECH premises.

The implementation of the IEC 61850 server + GOOSE interfaces was accomplished during 2016 by Elester-PKP team using the licensed INFO TECH IEC61850 Software Library.

It is worth to mention that the conformance pre-testing of CZAT7 was done in February 2017 by the INFO TECH team, allowing our customer to approach directly the official certification test ordered from DNV GL.

We are also very pleased to inform that CZAT7 controller implementation was especially appreciated during EXPOPOWER 2017 Fair: our customer Elester-PKP Sp. z o.o. was awarded a golden medal. CZAT7 was announced to be the first and still the only Polish made and IEC 61850 conformant controller for traction automation systems.
