Three training sessions on IEC 61850 communication during May and June 2024
As a result of market response to our newest offer of IEC 61850 hands-on trainings during May and June 2024 we organized three IEC 61850 training sessions.
The first session on May 21-23 was organized as a traditional open IEC 61850 training course taking place in LINTE2 Laboratory in co-operation with Gdansk University of Technology, Faculty of Electrical and Control Engineering. All seats were booked ! Thus, for the additional interested customers we arranged two private training sessions in June.
A special topic of the IEC 61850 training course in 2024 was an exercise of building a system configuration description (SCD file) from the descriptions of component IEDs (ICD files) and based on requirements on the data transfer using client-server and GOOSE communications. Our newest tool product, INFO TECH 61850 SCD Builder, was introduced for this purpose. Then the created SCD file was used to simulate the system devices using INFO TECH 61850 SCL Runner toolset and INFO TECH 61850 Avenue client tool. The created GOOSE binding and the resulting GOOSE data flow could be then visualized and monitored using INFO TECH 61850 GOOSE System Viewer tool.
These three training sessions gathered 40 participants from 7 companies and institutions - thank you very much!
